Discussion topic for Shannon, servant of the Ushiromiya family.

So according to Shannon, most of the servants move on from working with the Ushiromiyas after three years, but for some reason she has stayed there longer. Much longer in fact, since she and George are somewhat of “childhood friends”. And yet, in Ep1 at least, she doesnt seem very… involved in Kinzo’s secrets and magic. At least not nearly as much as Genji and Kanon appear to be.
What Im getting at is, having been with Kinzo for such a long time, she must know a lot more than she is letting on. For some reason, even when with George, she seems to act like she only goes along with the servant’s legends, and doesnt actually believe them.
Hmmm, maybe she doesnt actually believe them and thats why she was killed first in Ep1? I guess we’ll find out.

Shannon is always portrayed as the most amateur of the servants. But in actuality, she is the second highest rank servant that we know, second only to Genji. Kumasawa had been there longer afaik, but she isn’t permitted to wear the one-winged eagle, so she is below Kanon.
But rank aside, there’s no question that she must be one of the more knowledgable servants, but she really does play it off to seem like one of the ‘normal’ servants, especially compared to Kanon and Genji.
There’s a lot to be said about her from Episode 2, as well.
