Bernkastelle
Nice to meet you~
I’m 24 years old, currently living in Japan. In Yokosuka, Kanagawa prefecture
But, I was born and raised in Canada
Currently, I work as an ordained Shinto priestess at a local shrine here (Actually, my profile header photo was taken in the shrine! ) I had been a miko for 6 years before, training.
In my free time, I help teach about Shinto, you can see on the website in my profile if you’re interested
Ive been a huge fan of Higurashi for 12 years now, since back in 2005. Umineko since 2008. Both series have deeply impacted me for various reasons. They’ve remained my favourite series all this time and none other has surpassed them.
Higurashi is especially important to me, since it was one factor that impacted my decision to become a priestess. Umineko equally as well - helped to develop my spiritwork abilities and senses so strongly too, by gaining a more broad worldview and way of thinking. Even right down to fashion, I was inspired - Umineko introduced me to Lolita (gothic, classic) fashion - another passion of mine.
In any case, I’m really happy to be here and have a chance to get to know everyone. Higurashi and Umineko mean so much to me, and its wonderful to continue sharing in that with a group of fellow fans
I also enjoy Ryukishi’s other works very much too. Not to the same impactful degree, but I love the aesthetic of them and his usual writing style. Trianthology has caught my eye lately, and Hotarubi.
