HiguUmiSound Label composing for Square Enix's Mobile RPG Mashiro Witch!
Ever wondered what happens when composers ZTS, xaki, dai, and Luck Ganriki collaborate together for a non-07th Expansion work? They form the HiguUmiSound Label!
The composers were asked to provide music for Square Enix's upcoming Mashiro Witch, a Witch War Mobile RPG releasing in 2017. The producer, Iwano Hiroaki, specifically stated that he wanted the music to sound more Umineko-like. He also tweets about progress on the game mechanics.
Not much is known about this game, but the opening video seems to conjure the likeness of Madoka Magica and Fate/Stay Night. Anticipate an epic story filled with dark twists!
The latest news on the grapevine is that voice actor, Marina Inoue will be voicing the character: Takayashiki Ikuru. Inoue is also known for voicing Jessica Ushiromiya from Umineko no Naku Koro Ni. Perhaps the producer wanted more When They Cry folks to contribute to this game.
What do you think everyone? Let us know down below if you'll be playing this game when it's released!
