Maria's Puzzle Book Reloaded [Puzzle 26]

Uhm, that would be three matches moved.

Hmm yeah I got nothin’.

So Kari, akafa, and Flare would be ready for a hint.

@Blackrune @King_Titanite_XV You two also of the impression you need a hint or do you still have ideas?

I feel like me asking for a hint just yet would be lazy as I haven’t really tried that much. But if others want it don’t let that stop you.

Okay, then here’s a final hint:

The name of a website everyone of you has used before and many probably use frequently is based on the solution of this puzzle.

Por… :blushing:Wait… not that…

Google references the number 10^100 as an inspiration, so that must be it.

I use Bing.

Gogool - A HUNDRED ZEROS

So I guess in lieu of writing 10^100 in a form or another you’re supposed to write GOGOOL using the snakeathingawhat.
Should be simple enough but hard to edit an image on a cell phone.

Gotta admit that would have been impossible without hints for me, I havent heard about gogool at all :sweating:

So combining that with Vyse’s original hint that 10201 = 101*101, let’s search for similarities. Does Gogool have a square root?

EDIT: It does. It’s 1e+50. I have no idea what that means, but maybe one of you can use it for something?

E is exponent, you used square root and 100/2 = 50, so 1*10^50
I think it’s pretty much solved if we can make googol out of the sticks, but I ll let usagi or kari do that since they figured it out first

Right. It’s possible with the image turned 180 degrees. Just did it, but don’t want to steal credit now. :stuck_out_tongue:

Inb4 Vyse arrives claims its wrong and we cant flip image and gogool is not the answer, I don’t know why but I feel this might happen :cackle:

Here’s a disclaimer :

  1. Vyse fails at drawing sticks.
  2. Usagi fails at alphabet

No argument there that 2) is worst.

In any case :

The (9) is something I fully deserve.

And there we go, you got the solution! Meaning I’ll soon post puzzle 24.

How much did one have to pay for christmas lights at the end of october, before professor Evilowski raised the value-added tax the first time?

value-added tax

What’s that :sweating:

I think my math is off, but if it isn’t, then it’s either 112 Evilar or 124 Evilar.

102 isnt it? Hard to do fully mentally tho Ill check that back home.
