i would think you would be more focused on losing a game because of losing 2 humans on first day guaranteed but ok sure
Are you mistaking me for everyone whoās ganging up against you instead of being the sole person who voted but not against you and proposing alternative ideas? It sure sounds that way.
What IS the āking problemā?
If youāre saying the fact that picto has been identified then thatās unfixable.
If youāre saying the fact that I might see something else from picto that shouldāve been private, I will react in the following way if it occurs:
- Get very angry at him.
- Not post for like half a day.
- Post that security has been infringed, but not what was infringed, here and on Vyseās PMs on Discord.
Also to Usagi, Iām actually not sure whatās going on with you since you went for kari pointlessly yet youāre not following the crowd to shoot me off, so tbh I donāt know if youāre a witch who doesnāt want to draw attention to themselves or a human who hasnāt seen kari try to bait people before.
Right,
Iāve already given far more reasons to suspect Karifean than he gave for going pointlessly after.
A) Pictoshark
B) EternalMagician
C) Sapphire
D) Quixiote
E) You
But I guess heās allowed to, heās Karifean, uh?
Well him going after picto was bait to make eternal react so we could expose a potential witch.
Hence the eternal vote.
Then the sapphire and quixote thing was because of two people helping each other out. I disagree with him partially on this one but Quixote is stillā¦kinda suspicious?..I guess?
As for me, well heās only pushing for me to āmake the game fairā. IIRC he said he believes I could be human but that what occurred is too large a problem. I see where heās coming from, but disagree hugely.
There, thatās your explanation. Any questions?
None of these are nearly as valid as the reasons I gave to suspect Karifean in comparison, so try again.
These are the reasons you stated. Letās go through them then shall we?
beginning with him being karifean
Iāll ignore this one as it sounds like satire. If it isnāt then weāre going into gamblerās fallacy there.
all the aimless baits heās cast with very little valid argument about it
Just went over those and you didnāt disagree, you just said they werenāt āas validā. So theyāre still valid but not as valid as the stuff you said. Okay, so what have you said?
his odd reaction to me asking him about abilities
Quote this. I donāt know what youāre talking about here. Just looked through thread and couldnāt find this. Maybe Iām blind?
Tho the best reason to suspect him is seeing how people would react to it
So you suspected him to see if anyone else would react to it, and that your suspicion of him was baseless and a bluff? If thatās the case then thatās perfectly fine.
Though the other definition you could mean is that you think itās suspicious that heās trying to gauge reactions, and Iām going to assume thatās not what you mean because if thatās the case, I donāt even know where to start.
No I do consider his random baiting to be suspicious, but considering heās Karifean that could mean anything as he could essentially have the same strategies whichever sides he plays with.
From my pov Kariās actions are equally possible to interpret as him using baits and switching them around (yes Eternal_magician did not really become suspicious, but rather a better bait, if Iām right) to see if some people would use the opportunity to use any slight suspicion to jump on them in order to find out who are the witches (if heās human) or him (if heās a witch) trying to cast doubts on various people in the hope that one of them has enough humans jumping on them that he can make an easy sacrifice.
Because he is Karifean.
As I wrote earlier he is the person who is most important to find out wether he is a human or a witch as it gives a completely different interpretation of the game. I never said he was a witch but if anyone is suspicious then it is him. I guess consider it something like 50% being far more suspicious than 25%.
So casting suspicion on him to see how anyone would react to it is the best of plan but sadly I am stuck with meatdolls who are ganging up on a scapegoat (sorry to borrow the expression picto) who himself is more busy attacking me than everyone whoās actively trying to kill him.
I will also add that while I may be a newb at this game, any game where itās primarily based on trust inherently should always make the person who seems to be āleadingā the opinion of others into the most suspicious one.
Iām still trying to get rid of eternal, akafa, quixote, and possibly kari if my reads turn out to be wrong.
Also I thought it was clear now that I thought you arenāt suspicious if you targeted Kari as a bait.
Though just as some advice, that was a bad time to do that - there wasnāt any way people are going to get off my case because theyāre demented right now.
On the subject of this quote thoughā¦[quote=āUsagiTenpura, post:269, topic:1457ā]
any game where itās primarily based on trust inherently should always make the person who seems to be āleadingā the opinion of others into the most suspicious one

I heatedly disagree. Those that hang back should be targeted to make them respond, so we can gauge up the whole board. Hence why Iām going after eternal, akafa, quixote, etc.

With 12 players, the majority lynch is at 7. The phase ends at 18:40 UTC on the 10th of July.

Correct me if Iām wrong but thatās passed already?
Fuck
Itās the 9th.
July 10th. We still got a lot of time.
yeah just realised
for some reason google set it to sunday as the 10th when I put that into google
So we have 19 hours?
That later part is also part of why Iām gravitating toward those who are remaining very quiet.
The āproblemā is the former, and yes itās kind of impossible to fix completely at this point. Granted as long as youāre alive we technically donāt know for sure. But Iāll give you that not killing you also shouldnāt really make it worse at this point.
Also random thing about your reads, I mostly agree that those that just post enough to appear like āhi Iām hereā (either by focusing on not posting or by focusing on quantity over quality) should generally be suspected. (although that can also backfire.)
Regarding akafa though, they did point out that Doldod used purple for their alignment. Granted it was a silly reason for suspicion but looked a lot like theyāre actually trying to figure something out, so Iāve got them down as more likely to be human.
Hey, how about us as humans set our own deadline? Screw the GM, right?
1 hour before the deadline those who have not voted should vote for the candidate with the highest votes to push a majority, excluding bizarre circumstances such as each candidate having a very low number of votes.
Failure to comply with this orange tactic runs the risk of it skewering you with the blade of major suspicion.

Regarding the other concern, Iāll remain passive. We can discuss my exact reasons for this decision after the game, if you want.
Ah, right, Iām going back to changing my vote to
Vote change : No Death
Because I just wanted to egg Blackrune into talking. Not that it really worked.
Well I wonāt vote for myself now that Iāve realised that me dying ruins us as the protector (if there is one) will be forced to act leaving other people open.
But sure. Itās an idea, and I do think that random numbers deciding the fate of the game is very, VERY unfair to everyone - yes, even the witch team.
