Killing 3rd Parties isn’t exactly our goal but yknow, there might not be much merit to keeping him around either.
His whole story feels way too fishy to just leave him be for too long.
Granted, if his goal was to ‘get a certain amount of people modkilled by baiting them with DMs’ then he can probably forget that now, so maybe he’s harmless.
I’d say Titanite needs to clarify what his alignment and goal is.

Wow, great. I wake up and the game has started and two people are already dead, and by the looks of it, both died to PM mindfuckery bullshit. I mean, cool, we got a witch in the process, but I still feel that both sorceress and Star are pissed. In regards to killing King right now, well, we now know not to respond to his PMs which apparently is something he can do, so his ability is effectively worthless now. However, this line still makes me worried:
This probably means that there’s more to his ability than we know right now.
As for Restkastel, if his claim is correct, then we should definitely keep him alive and not lynch him on day one, as this is a useful ability for humans to have. Then again, he could also just have successfully claimed his witch side ability, as his ability is basically akin to a role that can identify one person’s ability, and such an ability is common on both sides really. So really, like I think someone else said already, best bet would be to investigate him in the Exploration phase so that we can be certain on which side he is on.
Also, to the Root Double experts here, which is only @Karifean right now I think? Is Pixie a Root Double character? And if so, how does she act there etc. etc.?
No, there’s no character called Pixie in Root Double.
Well, that’s good to know. Doing a bit of googling, there don’t seem to be many fictional characters actually named “Pixie”, the only one I came up with is an X-Men character, and I kinda doubt that that’s the origin of the name. So it’s probably more like that King is basically a generic fairy or something like that, it would even fit his PMing Rest, as that mainly caused confusion among us, something fairies are usually known for in folklore.
Yeah, I’ve googled for Pixies a bit too and haven’t found anything. There might be someone else with an unknown ability too for all we know. So it seems like we need to be really careful in this game. If we believe Rest then King had proposed killing Wonder, I fell like it can be an important bit of information. Is there some purpose for that?
That also really bugs me. If Rest is honest then King had some benefits from killing a witch, which might put Wonder under some suspicion. I won’t be quick to judge but something fishy is defenitly going on here.

I mean, you’re a new member, so you couldn’t know, but basically Restkastel (and pictoshark for that matter, but he’s the GM this time around) feel that Wonderlander screwed them over in an earlier Mafia game despite being on the same team, so they agreed to kill Wonderlander first thing no matter what. King hopped onto that wagon. It’s also the main reason why Mafia IV had the anonymity rule. If you’re really curious, read through Mafia Roulette and judge for yourself who’s in the right there.
Oh, okay, then it’s probably just that. My point about King receiving a point for the death of a witch still stands, though, maybe he needs to specifically kill witches. Also, what if pictoshark, having some grudge with Wonderlander, gave King a specific goal to eliminate him? And if we connect those two points my initial observation still has some merit.
Part of me actually likes that line of thinking. Then there’s the part of me that sees this as bad game design.

…And then there’s the part of me that remembers such roles can actually exist in Mafia games (well, without the PM stuff) and would even fit the neutral alignment.
Well it could just have been that the whole Wonderlander grudge was a good pretext to try and bait a PM out of Rest.
As for “Pixie”, you’re all probably aware that Starturner’s piece, Bernkastel, most certainly also wasn’t a character from Root Double. 
This could mean there are more rogue characters that don’t match the setting, or maybe it’s only the witches.
At any rate, Rest’s information seems to suggest he’s in some sort of competition with another player, and the score is currently 1-1. I’m not sure what to make of that, maybe the game ends if one of them gets x points, or maybe it’s completely separate from our own objective and whoever has more points at the end of the game just wins together with the actual winners. I wonder if I should suspect the person that sent me a PM earlier to be that ‘opponent’, it seems to match decently with what’s been said so far.
Due to outside circumstances I could not assign all of them randomly.
Roles were mostly randomly assigned though.
Could you reveal who that was at this point? That might help as get a clearer perspective.

And I kinda don’t believe Rest’s claim about King wanting to kill me. I mean, we were together in the same team last game and even by his high standards, I don’t think I was “incompetent” enough to deserve a kill right now. Then again, this is pure speculation so for all I know Rest is telling the truth.
So that means that a conspiracy to kill Wonderlander might have taken place.

Shrugs I’m awake again now, so if anyone else wants to confirm my ability just let me know. I also get the sneaking feeling that Pixie is from Shin Megami Tensei, I think strange journey. Picto told me something about a very annoying pixie who was part of the central plot for some reason or another in one of the SMT games, and I think it was Strange Journey. I’m not quite sure though since I just woke up.
You do realize that he was supposed to be in the conspiracy to kill you last mafia game before Karifean made things anonymous. I also have other information that would suggest otherwise. In any case, whether he wanted to kill you or not is irrelevant. It was probably sent in an attempt to try to bait me into replying since he figured it would work.
Unfortunately for him, two things made it fail. His brother is a fuck and I am a paranoid motherfucker so I wasn’t about to respond to a PM outside the board.
Hello hello what do we have here, eh? Rest has made a claim, King has gone insane, and were two deaths into a single day. We have certainty shifted into ludicrous levels…
I’m sure it goes without saying that we should all be careful when interacting with King. At the same time, this goes the same with Rest. However I am more inclined to side with Rest since it sounds like he’s confident with his claim. Still, out of all of this a witch being killed off on day one is nothing to complain about.
Let’s all get comfy, I’m sure this will be a fun game.
