Wait a moment. So if someone had such an ability as an innate or locked ability, they could not claim it? That means locked abilities can’t investigate alignments and if someone who has an innate investigation ability is pressed, they can’t use their investigation ability.
I wonder if that rule is meant to only prevent abilities from acting differently depending on the target’s alignment (like with “if target is a witch, they die”), and not prevent people from claiming abilities that function as standard investigation. Because if humans can’t investigate, that gives a pretty massive advantage to the witches.
Hmm, I just wanted to test the waters to see if we potentionally could find out alignment of all of the players. I already got a confirmation from the GM that it’s not a legit claim anyway.
This is just my shitpost mind talking, but we’re kinda un-april fooling the april fools joke by playing this game, as the promised logic battle (even with blue) happens in this thread.
I don;t like something. Eternal’s night ability is very obviously fake. Should we really let it through this early in the game?
Oooh! I had an idea!
My ability can have any number of targets and it lets me learn if each of them used Magic of Belief that night or not. This information is delivered via a PM which explicitly lists all of the targets in a vertical list with the word “Yes” or the word “No” next to the name of each target, with the word “Yes” being next to the names of those who did use the Magic of Belief and the word “No” being next to the names of those who did not.
Bam! That way we’ll know if it was blocked by those witchy scowndrels.
Anyone wanna claim this? You’re obviously gonna get thrown into a conflict by morning if you take it but…
