Rokkenjima Secret Oyashiro I [Finished - Progressive Victory]

I think I’m ready to make my proclaimation now.

The exteremists are: @cjlim2007, @Rabla, @DaBackpack and @Pepe. DaBackpack is Oyashiro.

I am choosing to believe in @Yerian, @EisenKoubu, @Sapphire and @Necem. Don’t let them steal victory away from us!

Well, care to explain your logic, at least? Especially about DaBackpack being Oyashiro

Also, why me? Just because I decided to vote yes? o_O I’ve pretty much voted yes in every single government until now, mostly because I didn’t see the risk outweighing the gain from seeing the results of the government.

Though I guess we’ve both been pretty distrustful of each other the entire game, so I’ll give you that.

Maybe it’s because you’ve always been working against me this entire game, but I just can’t trust you. And yes, you voted yes this round, which is very suspicious. You might be the biggest leap in logic in all this, but eh, gotta take that leap somewhere. I think CJ and Rabla’s allegiance have been made clear this last round, and we already knew that one of Rabla or Eisen had to be an extremist, so I’m going with Rabla. It just adds up really well if you consider cj an extremist who wanted to get another extremist as chancellor. The fact that he kinda ignored everyone is a big deal.

It occurs to me that I might be wrong about DaBackpack though. In my grand plan, he is pretty interchangable with Yerian. Yerian is also suspicious because he was nominated by CJ earlier in the game. Maybe I jumped to conclusions by singling him out. But DaBackpack also voted yes on cj’s decision, so…

Flip a coin? :stuck_out_tongue:

No, I’m sticking with DaBackpack…

You know, I have thought about Eisen’s actions for a while now, and I think there’s a chance he might be a progressive. Whilst the theory that Aspirety thought up, that since Rabla has been more suspicious than Eisen lately there’s a higher chance of the former being a radical is good evidence and Rabla may have lied that Eisen tricked him on the second round, I think Eisen could have enacted a radical policy to use the investigation ability, which is perfectly reasonable for a progressive. The investigation ability is the only way for a progressive to be assured that another player is their ally and since Eisen used it very early in the game, I don’t think it was that big of a risk to enact a radical policy. This is just a thought though and I’m not saying that I trust or distrust Eisen more than I used to and I of course may be wrong, and if I am, I have made up quite a good excuse for Eisen to defend himself with. :smile_cat:

That feel when you know the theory is wrong because you know you’re progressive… Honestly I just think this game has been dragging on too long so I won’t really talk anymore unless someone mentions me

It’s a nice theory, but I’ve stated my position and no one’s going to believe a word I say until the seagulls cry. :stuck_out_tongue:

Hi-hihihihihihih!!!
HI-HIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIIH!!!

Aspirety, you fool. I pitied you, so Ive been trying to warn you this entire game. But you are truly incompetent!

DaBackpack is not a liar. I AM A RADICAL. And your list of extremists could not be more wrong!

Come now, Aspiiiiiiiiiiiirety. Let us play a new game. If you correctly guess all of the radicals and Oyashiro, I shall repeat it in red for you!

Oh, and if you fail, please don’t lose heart. At least you can still play your old game. What was that one called again? Oh yes: “Pray that all of your friends were not so convinced by your own words as you were that they make the wrong vote!”

Remember, the stakes are so high right now, all you need is for one of the two elected to be radicals for your precious progressive government to fail!!!

Tch. Guess I flunked that one.

You’re supposed to bold in red “You are incompetent.” Come on man. Git gud

W-w-well now… I guess you’re not getting my vote the next time.

Not like someone will actually nominate you at this point. Wouldn’t make much sense for a progressive to push this sort of claim, after all. A very risky claim indeed…

Shall we continue then? @Sapphire are you final with your choice of Necem?

Yes yes, voting has already begun.

Well fuck, I’m an idiot! I did not see karifean’s announcement urgh

Also, I’m going to call @Yerian’s bluff. I’ll accept the confession that he is a radical, as a progressive should have no reason to lie about that. But the only reason he would willingly expose himself at this juncture is because he knows he’s about to lose. It’s a last-ditch effort to instill discord in the progressives and make them question whether they should push the button or not.

But don’t give in! His jeering is nothing short of proof that victory is within our grasp. I am choosing to trust Necem and Sapphire this round. What about you?

Oh Aspirety, I would have thought you of all people would remember what happens when you are challenged to a game and choose to ignore it!

I have many pieces I have not even revealed yet, much less played. And yet you think this is my last resort? You truly are amusing! I am glad I chose you as my opponent for this game!

Come now, Aspiiiiiiiiirety. Use that chessboard thinking of yours that you love so much! I had you believing in me. It would have been so much easier for me to just to keep playing along, waiting for you to realize your mistakes. The odds are in my favor, after all!

But this is fine by me. Go ahead, ignore my challenge and continue to believe in those who have gained your trust. The longer you struggle against me, the longer I get to play with you! CACKLECACKLECACKLE

The vote has concluded! Here are the results:

With 7 votes for and 2 against, the vote goes through!

Government Phase

Our new government has once again the obligation of leading Hinamizawa. Let us pray that their choice is in the best interest of the entire village.

Sapphire and Necem, you two may not post in this topic until the government phase has concluded.

Welp, there shouldn’t have been that many YES votes…

@Yerian@EisenKoubu@Aspirety@Rabla@Pepe@DaBackpack@cjlim2007@Sapphire@Necem

Gather round, members of the council! The government has made their choice, a new policy has been enacted!

“The council shall henceforth be allowed a number of emergency measurements; they are allowed to execute council members that do not represent the people’s will through Onikakushi, and if things get really desperate a dictatorship may be handed to the acting chancellor to prevent major damages.”

Another radical policy! What is happening!?

@Sapphire, you now have the privilege to make use of Special Candidacy, making the next presidential candidate into whoever you desire. You may pick anyone besides yourself. Regardless of whether or not your chosen candidate’s government vote passes, @Necem will be the next presidential candidate afterwards. Once you’ve made up your mind, please state the name of your candidate in bold.
