What are you going to do if you triple K and have to use special candidacy?
What if you give @Blackrune a choice and they choose a King policy?
Who will you choose for Special Candidacy in these situations?

Itās not exactly an objection but I donāt think itās a good idea to both name him as chancellor and to chose him as potential special candidacy, which I think you are prone to do. If somehow both of you are OTK it could be used to win the game next turn, and so I wouldnāt be very prone to support itā¦ Just remove my doubts please, and either chose someone else as special candidacy or someone else than blackrune as chancellor for now.
Remember that you may have no choice but to pass an OTK policy right now due to bad drawsā¦
I would actually suggest the same thing as I wanted last round : pick someone for information - I believe we can afford it right now. I donāt really know if Iām saying something stupid right now tho as Iām overall really confused by the turnout of the last round.
Having everyone (or almost) voting for pocketyhat made me think she was an OTK, to be honestā¦ and now that she seems to have proven not to be so, Iām still left wondering if she obtained 2 progressive policies and discarded one, lowering the odds. I really donāt want to doubt you hat, but in this situation right now I have to be paranoid.
Either @Blackrune or @UsagiTenpura. Theyāre the people Iām most inclinded to trust at this moment, the first one because theyāve been stated as progressive and the second due to her history in this game, with voting and statements and the last round. It really depends what happens between this round and the next which one I would choose if that happens.
Iām hoping it doesnāt though. I really think that @Blackrune is a progressive right now and, unless Iām terribly wrong about that, then if we get any progressive policies, we should win.
Uh, in other words, donāt follow my suggestions unless more people support it, basically, as Iām not thinking clearly right now.
If anything and if itās possible, I would like to wait for restkastel and blackrune to speak up their personal opinions in the matters.
The last post was supposed to be a reply to @pictoshark by the way.
ā¦Who do you suggest then? @Wonderlander or @Restkastel come to mind as particularly opinionated players but Iām not sure how wise it would be to pick either of them. Iām not getting involved in the @pictoshark/@akafa123 mess. Itād be unwise to pick @PocketyHat if youāre correct and Iām not very inclined to trust @Rabla. Soā¦someone other than the ones I named?
If other people think itās a good idea, Iāll consider picking somebody else, but if not Iāll probably go with @Blackrune.
If I do pick @Blackrune and it fails, depending on how things go down, I might pick them or @UsagiTenpura.
Does anyone else have opinions on this?
I think it checks out. Maybe waiting for @Restkastel to give his thoughts might be an idea, but aside from that I think weāre good to go.
Personally I would not have blackrune here as Chancellor. This is not because I do not trust them, but rather because I think that it is important to leave them open as a viable option for a special candidateās chancellor considering if we do go into Oyashiro time, we need someone we can trust as Chancellor. While I think of myself as trustworthy, I can see why some might not so I would perhaps pick someone else to be chancellor at least this time around.
Thats just my two cents though.
We can still choose them for special candidacy even if they were the last chancellor.
Not the chancellor for the special candidacy im fairly sure.
Fair fair, I misread your post.
Still someone claimed by a third party to be a Progressive is more likely to be Oyashiro than most.
We need to trust you to pick Blackrune as Chancellor.
In Oyashiro time that is.
Youāre priorities seem odd @Restkastel, youād think your trusted ally would be the best choice to close this game in an easy victory, wouldnāt they?
Yes, but theres also an almost 50% chance of drawing Triple King. I would rather not leave this to a chance of the deck close to a coinflip.
Hmm. While Iām hoping for a progressive policy, you guys are probably right to prepare for the worst.
@Blackrune, if I were to be special president person, who would you pick as your chancellor?
@UsagiTenpura. Same question.
@thesorceress
Thatās one Iāll have to think about for a bit, give me some timeā¦
Oyashiro is an annoying problem, because they may have no idea who their allies are and may be, among things, playing for the wrong team themselvesā¦ As Iāve put it earlier, itās really impossible to rule out someone from being Oyashiro as a really properly playing Oyashiro would go out of their ways to act progressive to gain everyoneās trusts. We may not be necessarily dealing with a properly playing Oyashiro tho.
So, give me some time to think about it ^^;; sorryā¦
Well, seeing how that would be a very critical decision of the game, I wouldnāt be set on anyone right away but rather listen to everyoneās input first. If you really want my current favorite, probably Usagi.
Theyāre unlikely to be Oyashiro in my eyes because they apparently didnāt play for information in the beginning. (which Oyashiro should be inclined to do because they donāt know their allies)
And the fact Usagi kept pointing out that I should have played it safe as well seemed to make it believable enough.
But again, this isnāt something I can really be set on in advance because it could potentially decide the game.
Oyashiro? If the game ends here would you mind guessing who your Kingly followers are before they reveal themselves? Iāve barely seen any signals after all.
@Karifean, could you make sure Oyashiro sees this message?
That could be true, but alternatively she could have gotten triple prog instead of 2 and 1. This would still be consistent with what we drew, even if it made it a bit less likely. I do think shes Progressive but we cannot be really sure, the only one Im sure about is you because I investigated you.
