Rokkenjima Secret Oyashiro III [Finished - One True Kings Victory]

@UsagiTenpura @Blackrune @akafa123 @PictoShark @Restkastel @StarTurner @PocketyHat @thesorceress @Wonderlander @Rabla

Also Blackrune cannot factor in here nor can Sorceress as they are still previous government.

Yeah, with Blackrune out of the running my trust choices would probably be PocketyHat. Restkastel, Pictoshark and then Usagi, with varying levels of iffyness or lack of knowledge for the rest of the members.

Like I said, Iā€™d feel bad if I didnt take this carefully, since itā€™d be unfair to you all if my absence and catch-up attempt caused me to miss anything.

Also I remembered that StarTurner is also on my timezone, so he should be sleeping. Hmm.

Hes not. Hes playing Exalted with me.

I am also okay with Pockety due to the fact she only got 3 YES votes. But if it is anybody elseā€¦ I dunno what I might vote.

2 prog policies is no one lying. There have been two governments since the last reshuffle. (I think)

Nominating someone who was recently downvoted heavily is not a good idea usually, at least as far as I know. Thats just my take on it.

Any other person would be a prime candidate for Oyashiro though. People will avoid voting NO in order to avoid randomized policy. And Rabla is in a perfect position to take advantage. I would much rather risk a random policy than letting the kings win. Sorry.

Your fervent defense of @PocketyHat, asking for her renomination even after she was downvoted is ratherā€¦ strange?

#DOES ANYONE ELSE KNOW WHERE Iā€™M GOING WITH THIS?

Then why did Pockety vote no to herself? As well as at least one more Fascist? Was it because they thought that the vote would fail and didnā€™t want to be caught or seem suspicious?

Itā€™s a common one. The timid Oyashiro. Being Oyashiro is down right terrifying. Some Oyashiros do nothing to get elected and bank on the 6 King winning policy instead, because one slip up in their mind, and an Oyashiro Assassination could occur.

This is especially common among those with low self esteem, and it takes just a little slip into this strategy early on to feel like youā€™ve ā€œcommittedā€ to it, and you should keep on doing it. Believe me, Iā€™ve been there.

I will posit that This is PocketyHatā€™s current state of mind.

I suppose, though what explains the lack of one more vote from the Kings? I Know that Blackrune is a Progressive so from my point of view there is one vote missing. Do you think they picked up on this and decided to help? Or do you think they just read the room and realized that the vote would likely fail?

She said she didnā€™t want it.

So basically this:
they just read the room and realized that the vote would likely fail?
Seeing the possibility that Picto laid out above along with Wonderlanderā€™s weird behavior through the game I would say that you should avoid nominating Pocketyhat.

Thats just my opinion though, judge for yourself.

Then maybe Pictosharkā€™s suggestion to go with my number two will be the right path. Thereā€™s a small chance of us pulling the Prog policy we need, and if not, Iā€™d like both of your inputs on the Onikakushi decision.

So, I nominate @Restkastel as my Chancellor.

Voting Phase

@UsagiTenpura @Blackrune @akafa123 @PictoShark @Restkastel @StarTurner @PocketyHat @thesorceress @Wonderlander @Rabla

Since our presidential candidate has chosen a chancellor, itā€™s time for everyone to vote.

President: Rabla
Chancellor: Restkastel

Do you trust these two to represent you and the entire village of Hinamizawa and enact a policy on your behalf? You have 24 more hours to get your votes in.

Who was your Number one trusted person? Just curious.

Well, the two people we think are kings at the moment are @akafa123 and @Wonderlander . I would wait to see the results of this election to say any more, and that Pock is just one of many possibilities. We should discuss at length who we should shoot before we do if we are forced to play a radical policy. We need as much discussion and debate as possible.

@pictoshark I think it was Pock because he thought that turning down CHance made her trustworthy, but considering what you said he revised I guess?

Yeah, it was that list I posted before sleeping last night, starting with Pock.

I genuinely might go for this, under the logic that if Rest isnā€™t Oyashiro we basically win, and if he is then gg all, well played.
