Next president! Ummmm, what was your name again… @Blackrune? Could you perhaps put forward a policy to rename the “Grumpy Old Men” to the “Slightly Irritated People of Significant Age”?
I think this could be put forward as a policy for either team, and it would be excellent to see the group be given an even more ridiculous (but also more accurate) label.
Thanks!
Guess its time to drop the RP and get into the thick of things.
Personally I would have liked to see a choice given, because this early in the game its more important to get information than to be extremely cautious. Forcing Progressives is a good strategy but its more saved for late game when Oyashiro could be elected normally. Thats just how I normally play at least, because honestly information is worth a lot more than a single prog card at this point at least in my opinion. Now we wasted an opportunity to test Sorceress.
On the other hand, playing Grumpy this early in the game may have been suicide for a Grump so who knows. Would all depend on the strategy of the Grumps really. shrugs
Picto, you need to atone for your shamefur dispray. You didn’t round properly for your possibilities.
In the case of truth for GGG it would be more accurately 33% since its .3296
In the case of lie and getting PGG for chances of PPG should be 25% since its .2472
Learn to round Picto.
I don’t care about such insignificant matters, that post took long enough anyway, you meatdoll.
A 1% difference really won’t affect our decision making too much.
I was asleep. I also just wanted to publicly shame the maths student who failed to round.
Also in the interest of full transparency, this is what happened when I told Picto to check the thread after posting that. I think its so much more amusing than his public reaction. I am posting this for the interest of full transparency.
I will note I didnt edit it, the forum autoedited because picture. My bad.
Yeah, I have a note on the Mafia Ruleset to be careful with images because of the auto-edit. Be wary with that stuff.
Thankfully we can check which user made the edit, so if it was made by @system then we can just avert our eyes. So at least there’s that.
In the interest of further transparency,
Because TECHNICALLY, I could include the error again after these PMs to signal to Rest that I’m grumpy so it is kind of unfair to you guys if I don’t post this image.
Now watch as everyone calls me out and says I’m wrong about the rounding thing thanks to me only being a first year student. Wooooooooooooooooo. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun.
Nah I don’t mind that, but you still haven’t said a word about mistaking thesorceress for wonderlander in your long post.
I’d much rather be mean about that xD
For the record tho, I personally use fractions, and even round things up as factions. For instance to me the current deck of cards’ probabilities is expressed as :
-1/91 chances of PPP, or insignificant chances.
-15/91 chances of PPG, or roughly 1/6
-45/91 chances of PGG, or roughly 1/2
-30/91 chances of GGG, or roughly 1/3
Like wise I also use the idea that, counting myself out of the lot (but any progressive can also do the same) and knowing that I actually picked that 7 as true randomness (you’ll have to trust me on that for this to work out, I guess).
-5/18 chances of having both a progressive president and progressive chancellor.
-5/9 chances of having one GOM among the two.
-1/6 chances of having both being GOM.
Wait, after every election it is said that votes are revealed but I don’t see them or I’m mistaking something?
Oh it’s says unanonimous, I’m so stupid, sorry.

The second government was unanimously accepted! Wow, look at you go!
Government Phase
Our new government has once again the obligation of leading Hinamizawa. Let us pray that their choice is in the best interest of the entire village.
Blackrune and Wonderlander, you two may not post in this topic until the government phase has concluded.
Twelve hours later, pictoshark and marshmallows are in order.
Picto wouldn’t even remember he had marshmallows in order.
Though I would say that assuming picto would have a good enough memory to do something like that is silly.

Gather round, members of the council! The government has made their choice, a new policy has been enacted!
“Public institutions are henceforth required to provide no-adult zones. These may not be accessed by non-lolis without special permission, and especially not by Grumpy Old Men.”
How protective of our favorite oppressed little group. Naturally this is very progressive.

Nomination Phase
@akafa123, you are the current presidential candidate, please nominate a chancellor. Do note that Blackrune and Wonderlander cannot be nominated as chancellors since they were part of the previous government. Feel free to take your time and discuss the results of the previous government phase with your fellow council members, but once you’ve made up your mind regarding a chancellor, please state their name in bold. The voting starts immediately as soon as you make your decision. You have 24 hours to choose someone.
