I liked that one. It was cute.
I think I should let you guys know, I got two progressive policies from the president.

Uh oh
It is as thesorceress says.
I received two progressive policy and one radical Grumpy Old Men policy.
As I said I would, I didnāt take any chance. It saddens me not to have acquired any information on thesorceress outside of her having a great sense of humour, but I couldnāt risk wasting 2 progressive policies to acquire information.
I believe I made the right choice. Now however we have to face the situation that 2 progressive policies have already been discarded, and only 1 grumpy old men policy.
Current stock left is 10 Grumpy Old Men policies, and 4 Progressive policies.
Following the trend that I have set up, Blackrune should nominate Wonderlander as chancellor. Tho this doesnāt have to be absolutely followed, I would expect to hear a good argument why not to follow it before I would personally agree to this next government.
Oh and the other policy I had written was :
The celebration of a new Loli-tastic holyday is created in order to celebrate the contribution of all things loli into our village.
Considering thesorceressā choice, it may be still considered a form of gathering information.
I donāt disagree that thatās a bad way to handle choosing chancellors, but wouldnāt following the example that was set be putting the people through a number generator?
That might cause problems though. Itād likely be best to do Wonderlander.
Well, that was to find the X value, technically speakingā¦ at least thatās how I considered it.
But the problem is that a Grumpy Old Man president would pretend to follow a RNG and just pick someone up with well, intentions! Unless a single person determines all the RNG, which I probably couldāve done from the let go, but itās also probably giving too much power in the hands of a single person, as far as opportunity to trick goes.
I think for the sake of not allowing a single person too much power, nor allowing people to easily lie about choosing someone using a RNG, the best choice is to follow the trend I set up, meaning +7 after you.
Otherwise I would personally be fine with Karifean determining the RNG, but thatās an external interference that I donāt think is ālegalā within the gameās rules.
That second paragraph is an incredibly good point that I did not think of. Yeah, +7 sounds like it could work for now.
Indeed. I will never take away the possibility of the one deciding the random number having secretly thought up the specific number most to their advantage ^^
I guess itās in the gameās spirit that thereās never ever a guarantee that someoneās choice was totally random.
Well, itās working so far. I see no reason to not continue with your system for now, but I will keep in mind that it was your recommendation to do so.
I nominate Wonderlander
Voting yes, same reason as earlier.
Voting Phase
@UsagiTenpura @Blackrune @akafa123 @PictoShark @Restkastel @StarTurner @PocketyHat @thesorceress @Wonderlander @Rabla
Since our presidential candidate has chosen a chancellor, itās time for everyone to vote.
President: Blackrune
Chancellor: Wonderlander
Do you trust these two to represent you and the entire village of Hinamizawa and enact a policy on your behalf? You have 24 more hours to get your votes in.
However may I inquire about this reaction?
Progressive card wasted
Aaah okay, thatās what I thought, just wanted to be sure.
Thank you dear council! I promise to guide us towards a young Hinamizawa!
Hm, since I donāt think I have said why I voted yes, Iāll say it now, since Iām gonna vote yes anyway:
We require more information
That is all.
Weāve got a catbox here boys and girlsā¦
If Usagi is telling the truth then the odds for the next draw are:
PPP 1%
PPG 16%
PGG 49%
GGG 32%
If Usagi is LYING thoughā¦
haaaaaaanghā¦
then these other possibilities present themselves.
If Usagi really drew PPP then the odds for the next draw are:
PPP 0.2%
PPG 9%
PGG 45%
GGG 45%
If Usagi really drew PGG and @thesorceress is their accomplice (somehow) then the odds are:
PPP 2%
PPG 24%
PGG 49%
GGG 23%
I am now going to tell you about why it is unlikely that Usagi lied.
The first lie (where Usagi drew PPP) relies on a 3% chance occurring, which just seems unlikely.
The other lie (where Usagi drew PGG) requires Wonderlander to be an accomplice, which is certainly possible, buuuUUuuutā¦
Usagi would have a good reason to lie in the latter situation though, as it allows more Grumpy policies to be played, as more Grumpy presidents can claim to have drawn the dreaded triple Grump.
You mean thesorceress you liar!!!
xD
In all seriousness tho, this is accurate, tho I consider the situation where both the president and chancellor are Grumpy old men and lie in such a way to be quite a weak waste. If I was a Grumpy old man and picked up 3 progressive policy tho, I would surely lie in the way pictoshark depicted it to be. Anyone would, I think?
Iām hoping to believed however, that my actions overall proves I am trustworthy, because there is no tragedy greater for progressives than to be distrusting each other, especially if this somehow includes trusting a Grumpy old man.
