“Hmm…”

The cat considers the proposition.

“Let me sleep on your head like a hat and we have a deal.”

:blushing: Deal.

We can fight rats together! :push:

“And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how you successfully negotiate and broker a plan where both parties leave happy.”

The cat winks at the nonexistent camera for the nonexistent audience.

“What a pleasant little interlude this has been.”

Nya~ :blushing:

To add something more useful than what our entertainers are doing, some research on the net has suggested that Wonderlander’s character typically is defeated by leaving a doll behind in dissidia, and that it’s a reference to an actual thing from FF11.

At the very least, this seems to suggest that nothing incredibly weird occurred with that death, which makes me wanting to trust picto more once again.

Ugh… I’m going to hate this but I have to voice the following paranoia thought.

If I had been a witch there, and wouldn’t have any means as a killer to hide my gender, I’d probably talk to other witches so we could swap identity claims. That way the probably most useful witch piece, the killer, would be thought of as a girl while the narration would always talk about a man.

Yeah I’d be a cunning witch I guess, and maybe after that stupid stunt I pulled last game that currently makes me number 1 suspect for even talking about this…

But I really hope everyone will keep this in mind. Because this is what a smart witch would do here.

With that in mind I’d actually like for the tracker to track Vyse juuuuust in case to prevent us from turning in circles while we’re looking desperately for a man, if anything else.

Is there a role to change gender?

I believe there’s a role to confuse things yes.

I also realized my idea I just said is actually kinda dumb as once the other would be revealed things would come to light heh.

But, it’s still worth keeping in mind.

Yeah, that’d kinda fall apart once one of them dies. To prevent that they’d have to fake the claim altogether instead of just swapping, but that’s doesn’t look feasible given the theme of mostly protagonists.

Also I think there’s a role called assassin or something that can mess with the narrative. But if this one was messed with it sure must have been a subtle thing.

“Subtly, minorly, just ever so slightly messing with a narrative… What kind of awful monster would do such a thing!”

The cat shakes it head solemnly.

Usagi, we concluded from Picto’s role PM that the witch kill is a team kill. Here’s the sentence in question:

So this strat wouldn’t apply to this game.

Huh.
If it was a team ability there should have been multiple people attacking Cloud, so something doesn’t check out here either way.

"I was the one who sent the confirmation PM, I wasn’t expecting that to make me the culprit.

That seems to be how it worked there."

Or like a summon or something giving the dissidia theme, at least that’s how I’d have handled it.
But it doesn’t appear to be that way.

Um. What. I’m so lost.

First of all, I know nothing about Final Fantasy, so I’ll just leave Vyse and Usagi to that stuff.

However, this isn’t to say I’m not gonna try and contribute. I know mafia, and I’m gonna try my best to help out with that sort of logic. Now then, I think we should look closer at Pliskin’s death. We’ve been discussing Wonderlander’s death for a while, and two deaths means twice as much info. Why would either Picto or the witch team (or the sole witch killer) want Pliskin dead?

Well if the kill works like that I guess we might eventually be able to confirm it if the killer is suddenly someone clearly different.

I don’t really recall Pliskin doing much of special note on the first day. Maybe it was just supposed to be a safe choice, somebody who was unlikely to attract the attention of anybody else.

Make what you will out of this but the only thing that stands out is that he voted against pictoshark.

Which could either mean the obvious, or that it’s a failed attempt at redirecting us toward picto.

Otherwise I don’t see him as being a more valid target than a very large amount of people. I surely would’ve went for you if I wanted a safe choice ehehe.

Might be they thought he had a power. He was acting a little bit quieter than he did last game–maybe they thought he was laying low.
