Rokkenjima Mafia Roulette - The Head's Ring [Game Over - Witch Side Victory]

That moment when @Aspirety is away on Discord

Oh god he’s “Snooze” on steam. That means his PC hasn’t seem input for 2 hours.

@Blackrune, are you still gonna fire at him if he’s still “Snooze” on steam by the end of the phase?

Well
I’ll have to fire at someone. While it’d feel a little bad if he didn’t even get a word in, switching to someone else at the last second would probably be even worse. ^^"

My efforts to get Aspi in the thread after I see him online:

Local man’s excuse vanishes, he will be here soon. Should I post the chat logs?

Okay okay I’m here. Jeez, waving that gun around at someone who isn’t here to defend himself? I understand your reasoning, but this could’ve easily been answered by anyone from Kazamatsuri.

For the past 12 hours I’ve been passed out. The 10 hours before that I was partying very hard for Kazamatsuri’s 3rd anniversary and haven’t had the time to focus on the game. The 10 hours before that I was sleeping. The 10 hours before that I was at work and sleep deprived. The 10 hours before that I was sleeping (or rather, TRYING to sleep). I’ve been out of commission pretty much since that little debate on Discord about TTS.

Given that your only basis for pointing the gun at me is my lack of activity, this should rid me of suspicion, no? I’ve been active in questioning people before this chaotic turn of events, and haven’t had a lot to add since then even if I was here. Once more, the only strategy we can form is in choosing someone and seeing how people react. But NOBODY IS REACTING TO MY ACCUSATION!

I wonder if I should be suspecting @Karifean for not coming to my aid when he knew I was very much not alive for the past however many hours.

don’t worry dear, I’ll tag @Blackr

Some how my internet dying submitted my post early
?

This is what it’s supposed to say:

Don’t worry dear, I’ll tag @Blackrune for you, don’t you worry

Hm, do tags in quotes work?

@Aspirety

Yeah it works.

There you are.
Well I couldn’t have known you’re that occupied. Fair enough. If all of that’s true and you had no time to spare for this then one of my reasons to suspect you is certainly gone, although I still didn’t find your questioning earlier all that convincing.

Nobody reacting kind of gives me dĂ©jĂ  vu to the time Karifean was accused. Looks like every time the gun is pointed at someone everyone else just holds their breath, so there’s not really much to figure from that.

Not sure if I should give up on my suspicion that easily. I’ll have to make a decision soonish.

I’m still not sure how I’ve garnered suspicion in any way. You’re just pointing the gun at me because you can’t think of anyone to kill. Is my method of doubting people who don’t speak and people who defend others blindly really at fault here?

It’s still possible that Rest and one of these two was a witch trying to protect one of their own. That’s one angle you could be approaching this from.

I don’t know if you’ve read my most recent post but I’m not huge on the Rest support currently. Also we know for a fact that EternalMagician was human.

I mean, sure, thats a possibility, but I’m not a witch. As long as @Blackrune is willing to believe me on that, then this argument sort of falls apart. I will also mention that the system that I proposed went entirely on a basis of non-game related methods and shouldn’t have been biased towards any one particular group. Now, if the stars aligned to put all the useful people under that system in the Witch’s camp then sure, it might be suspicious, but the odds of that are not exactly high imo.

And considering the fact that star was the one who died last round, I feel that the witches aren’t nearly as competent as they could be. Unless everyone who was talking was a witch, then I think they would have killed off someone who contributed more, such as Kari or Picto. Again, unless they were witches. And personally, if I was a witch and picto wasn’t I would have targeted picto or Kari straight out of the gate. The reason why is, frankly, they would have been the most likely to notice if I was acting strangely.

Because this didn’t happen, I either was outvoted in favor of a person who was not talking, which would be immensely odd, or I am a human as well as EternalMagician, who we know is a human as well.

Or they are my fellow witches, which would be an act of malice on Azzy’s part to put us three on the same team, either that or some really bad luck for the Humans.

I’ve been busy myself dude. After playing a roleplaying game the entire day after I woke up after Kaza party (where I was too if you’ll remember) these past 3 hours specifically I was entirely preoccupied playing some Warcraft 3, which includes the entire time span from which you were accused. I can support Aspi’s claim btw, just in case you doubt it for some reason (though doubting people’s reasons for being away is hardly productive).

Anyways, this is going nowhere fast. The random accusation of Aspi was a start, but as we’ve seen with picto if it’s the Head doing it it just creates an oppressive atmosphere of “I don’t want to be the one they pick instead, so I’ll stay quiet”. On that note, let’s try to get the ball rolling again for a bit.

@Antra, why didn’t you make as much of an effort to get things going this time? Last day phase you opened with an RNG accusation, which was some good shit to get an exchange started, but today it just feels like you’ve been passive and just responding to people instead of actually bringing something to the table. I’d extend the question to more people, but Aspi has an excuse, picto is the one whose Human-ness I trust the most in, Blackrune is the Head, thesorceress has been at least somewhat more proactive than you have and Wonderlander actually complemented the witches on picking “a good target”, which stands out like a sore thumb among all the “no ideas” from most people (myself included), and I don’t necessarily see a witch deliberately drawing attention to themselves like that, though that could’ve been intentional in and of itself.

Actually @Restkastel, you too please. I agree with @Blackrune that the posts you did write seem rather genuine, but then, you’ve made a surprisingly small number of posts compared to previous games. You did mention that it’s throwing you off that there’s so little information to go on, but in that case why haven’t you been trying to get more information to go around?

oh goddamnit, new posts. Admittedly the argument that Rest would’ve killed me or picto right out of the gate is a rather convincing one, heh.

Well, part of me does want to shoot Rest just because being deceived again after that Oyashiro game would be the worst, but I should probably contain those emotions. :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyway, thesorceress kinda replied something interesting to my thoughts earlier. It sounded like they were a little suspicious because my candidates included some people Rest proposed a while ago.
It doesn’t seem like the obvious move for a witch to put suspicion on the current head when they’re still a suspect.
Besides, if I got it right this would mean they think I might be teamed with Rest, which wouldn’t really go with your assumption that they’re in a team with them, unless they’re fine putting a bit of suspicion on one of their partners.
Also, hold on. thesorceress wasn’t even really against killing Rest, I think? They said they’d prefer that over RNG later.

Lastly, Eternalmagician was definitely not a witch as has been said.

I just haven’t really had the motivation to do so. The format of the game is just not really as much up to my taste as I thought it would be. Also I will point out that I am not quite in the position to get information out of anyone, after all, the best way to get information out of people is to either put people on the spot by deflecting an accusation or being the head and holding a gun to someone’s head. I put several people on the spot by my suggestion before.

I just haven’t had the opportunity to do it again really.

You’re doing it again. You’re saying who you’d kill.

I’ve got a question. Is it possible that the witches have a condition on which they can target people? Do you think they could have some type of limitation on who they can target? Like they have to declare their intentions before they target someone at nighttime.
