A shady envelope, calling out ‘azzy’ before she even posts anything.
Rubs head in hands.
Okay! There’s a lot to address right now but I think we need to talk about this new role.
Pros and cons of the favored heir revealing themselves! I assume they can reveal themselves, it doesn’t seem like there are any rules against it.
If you reveal yourself:
Pro:
No human accidentally kills you
We have a confirmed human on board
Con:
There’s always a chance you could get a witch killed with this power
You will def be the target for a witch during the nighttime.
It seems like a huge risk for a person who could accidentally take out two humans not to reveal themselves. But they could also be easily targeted because of it. It’s…a tricky situation. But I think the best thing you can do is reveal yourself.
Unless I’m misunderstanding something.
Buries head in hands. How, exactly, is the human side gonna win this thing.
It would be extremely advantagous to the witch side to pretend to be the heir, however risky.
If that happened, we’d at least know one of two people were a witch.
Correct. But enough talk, I wanna hear picto’s explaination.
The purpose of the envelope will be clear in due time Aspirety.
And as for my post saying that “Azzy” looks like she just remembered something…
I was the Voyager that the gamemaster deliberated with. That is all there was to my comment.
@Aspirety speaks the truth, the witches, or indeed anyone about to be struck down could claim to be the Favored Heir to try to avoid being killed. However, they still need to explain all of their prior actions as those of a Human, otherwise the claim falls flat.
I’ll verify his words that Pictoshark was indeed the person I talked to about adding the role into the game after the start. We were already talking at the time I was thinking of doing it and I wanted a second opinion about it.
I vote for letting picto do whatever.
Though, so far nobody seems all too bothered by a potential Restkastel kill, which kind of makes me suspect witches would be fine with it.
This new role is certainly something. If they reveal themselves… well, a confirmed human would definitely be picked as the next head, but the witches will probably instantly kill that person to make sure it doesn’t happen. This basically means revealing yourself as the heir is a death sentence, maybe it’s better to only do it if you’re in danger of getting killed anyway.
Needless to say the current head shouldn’t execute anyone without giving them some chance to actually react first.
@StarTurner you’re awake. Post. Make it relevant, perhaps speak about who you think I should Execute. Otherwise I’ll have to Execute you for not speaking enough.
Unfortunately @Wonderlander genuinely seems to be asleep, so we’ll have to wait for them to wake up first.
Is a player dilberating the game with the game master even legal?
That last bit is part of why I want the Favored Heir to come clean. Even if Blackrune’s right it might not go well for them. Though it’s not like they don’t know all the humans on the board and this role isn’t that helpful to…either side really.
Okay! I’m going to sleep. Hopefully nothing drastic happens.
That is very not true. There has been a lot of resistance to it.
Really? I didn’t see any major opposition, at least. Sure, nobody’s for it, but didn’t really sound like anybody was all too against it either. Except for Restkastel himself of course.
I have no complaints for a Restkastel kill either, I’m not really for it either. I’d just rather not be killed myself, pfft.
Seems that thesorceress and EternalMagician are the two against offing Rest.
I guess reading through them going back and forth caused me to feel like it was more people. Still, it’s something.
If there are no extra teams then the Witches already know who all the Humans are.
The witches have little reason to kill a claimed Favored Heir if they reveal themselves. They already know who the Humans are and a Favored Heir is a potential landmine that could work to their advantage.
Yeah but people’s responses have varied.
Both you and Antra said to kill the inactive (prior to me proposing it)
Eternal Magician spoke against it, proposing a random pick. He did however speak against Rest’s idea of hitting he useless players, saying the Witches could appear useful to dodge that.
The sorceress gave good reasoning for preferring to hit Rest.
Aspi gave bad reasoning.
etc…
We have gotten quite a fair share of info out of this.
38 and a half hours remain in this Daylight Phase.
Human World Time is hard.
There’s certainly info that could be useful later.
I guess obvious opposition wouldn’t happen either way. It’d be more likely to be subtle like giving the suggestion to go random instead, or making a good point for one side and a weak point for the other.
