Rokkenjima Secret Oyashiro I [Finished - Progressive Victory]

In the meanwhile, we should discuss who I’m going to seer.

I want to look at either Rabla or Eisen

sigh why do you guys have to make everything so complicated… Why can’t you just tell the truth?

So, now we have to figure out who is lying. Is it DaBackpack? Is it Yerian? Is it both of them?!?!

Thanks to the whole reshuffling of the deck, there isn’t much to go by either. DaBackpack might have actually drawn a progressive policy despite what I said earlier. So now we don’t really have much to base it by. And it frustrates me quite a bit ^^;

I won’t mind if you investigate me. I personally think investigating Rabla will help confirm my suspicions about him, but investigating me will at least prove to you (and hopefully everyone else) that I am indeed a progressive. It’s as good for me to ensure who my allies are as it is discovering who my enemies might be, like I did with Aspirety.

If you truly are a progressive, which is more valuable to you? Identifying your allies or your enemies? It’s like a game of Sudoku. Once you know where one number goes, you have a good idea where that same number might go somewhere else based on what’s already been filled. It also eliminates the possibility of other numbers filling certain squares. Either way, you benefit from your investigation if you are a progressive. If you are a radical, chances are you will lie about mine or Rabla’s allegiance to further your goals, but it will immediately ensure to me that you are no friend of mine or Aspirety’s. It’s just another blank for me to fill in. (checks wastebasket for list of suspects)

So all I can say in the end is…choose wisely.

Considering he could just lie about his result either way, I don’t really know if there’s a point to having a lot of input. Especially since now that he’s accused Yerian of lying, which makes it possible he’s lying and no Yerian, they’re both in the same situation me and Eisen were/are.

What’s important here is establishing a chain of trustworthy claims. By establishing one person is progressive, we can trust that the person they claim is progressive is progressive, and the person that person claims is progressive is progressive. We’re setting up for that reveal in the future.

On the flipside, not trusting someone can provide insight into their claim as well.

Either way, I’d like it if the decision of who to investigate was made soon~ please help @DaBackpack reach his conclusion.

That’s up to DaBackpack :stuck_out_tongue: I’ve already put in my suggestion of Eisen.

Thought about it. It’s still possible that BOTH Rabla and Eisenkoubu are radicals, and learning about one doesn’t protect us from the other. If Rabla comes up radical, we still don’t know about Eisen, and vice versa. It’s best to treat Rabla and Eisen as both ‘untouchable’ and create information that narrows down our “safe” pool.

I’m gonna pick Aspirety as my target.

What a waste… I’ve been picked for both investigations. And knowing my allegiance doesn’t really lead anywhere.

well now that that has happened, should I nominate @Aspirety or @Rabla? I’m leaning more towards Rabla right now.

Because Rabla is super trustworthy right?

I mean he might, but you also might be better? honestly I don’t really know but to me you seem like a progressive. But also when I was paired with Rabla we got a progressive policy through so…

DaBackpack has been granted a single red truth. So now, let’s officially move on.

Current game status

Radical policies played: 2
Progressive policies played: 4!
Next presidential privilege unlocked by radical policy: Special Candidacy
Previous government: DaBackpack and Yerian
Remaining policies in stock: 9

Election Phase

@cjlim2007, you are the current presidential candidate, please nominate a chancellor. Do note that DaBackpack and Yerian cannot be nominated as chancellors since they were part of the previous government. Feel free to take your time and discuss the results of the previous government phase with your fellow council members, but once you’ve made up your mind regarding a chancellor, please state their name in bold. We will then start the voting.

I have no personal reason to accept or decline at this point. If you want, sure, but I’d rather wait until more people see me in a better light before I’m asked to return to the stage.

You can go with @Aspirety if you really want to pick one of us two, but I’d also want to see you consider more options in general. Some of the other players who have passed Progressive Policies as Chancellor would be good options.

@Yerian has always been right that a Progressive President doesn’t necessarily mean anything, so I don’t feel like I’m off the hook, and the others in that position only so far aren’t completely reliable.

Frankly, I think you should just follow your heart at this point. True, the progressives are on the winning side, but one wrong move could delay victory even further… At this point, I still find it extremely hard to trust anybody else fully… But if you are leaning towards rabla because you had a good experience with him, then that’s a good enough judgement as any.

I frankly think that Eisen is more suspicious than Rabla (because of reasons I already stated before), and thus personally feel that, if we assume that only one of them is radical because of his first voting, then I’m leaning more on Rabla being progressive. If both are radical then it doesn’t make sense that they’d bring each other down, so I feel that that option is less likely.

It’s possible they were both lying, but unlikely. But yes, I also doubt cj more than Rabla, which would make this all a farce :stuck_out_tongue:

Why is everybody so fixated on Aspirety and Rabla lately, I wonder…

Hmm, I feel our beloved radicals are manipulating us by making Aspirety the centre of attention, investigating only him and nominating him to become chancellor and stuff. They also are nominating Rabla who has been one of the most controversial members thus far, too. Maybe they are doing all this so that all other players, both radical and progressive, but especially the latter won’t get a chance to be in the government and do the right thing. I say CJ doesn’t nominate neither Aspirety nor Rabla, both controversial ones, but chooses somebody else who has been neutral until now, who would be either @Necem, @Pepe or myself. Maybe he can nominate Eisen too, but I’m not sure. Anyways, I say we don’t obsess so much over who is trustworthy and nominate suspicious players, but go a more neutral route this round, during which we should be careful, cause if Oyashiro becomes chancellor and a radical policy is enacted, the radicals will win.

Eh I don’t care anymore. If you don’t like it then vote no. I honestly don’t mind. I nominate Rabla
