what do you mean by successfully identify an extremist? He can still claim someone who is progressive is radical. He can also claim that a real radical is radical but they will probably refute that claim in the same way a progressive would. The only way I can think of that Eisen can show he’s legit is by his actions, aka voting patterns. Ofc now that I have pointed that out he might counter and this becomes a clusterf*ck of reverse psychology
Quote? I’m not seeing it. Maybe I’m just too tired. Eisen still hasn’t said what he gave Rabla though which is pretty essential in the blame game.
He said he’s sorry for putting his trust in Rabla, which is equivalent to blaming him. Please keep up.
And I repeat; the only way EisenKoubu can hope by to regain any trust is by identifying an extremist. Any other option would place more suspicion on him.
The problem is Eisen can literally call anyone a radical and we’d just have to hope he’s not lying.
So he could investigate whoever he wants and just tell us “Yeah he’s Radical” knowing that you’d be on his side now, since you said all that.
Any other option would place more suspicion on him.
But now you’re almost forcing him to call someone a Radical, true or not =\
What if Aspirety is a radical, like Eisen, and he knows that Eisen is going to claim a progressive person radical. That could be exactly what he wants.
…this game is insane
Don’t you get it?
If Eisen pleads innocence and identifies a progressive, I will not trust him.
If you really are Progressive, Eisen, then you must overcome this risk.
Hmmm, I wonder if my aggression has been misinterpreted.
There is no reason to trust either Rabla or Eisen anymore. The only safe way to know would be to get the investigation privilege yourself and check one of them.
No, at least one of them is innocent, that much is certain.
Your logic seems a bit wonky @Aspirety. More like coz of this here assumption:
Mr. Koubu is being extremely abstract about everything he is saying, and that leaves us between a rock and a hard place. I refuse to make any assumptions until we can get an answer from him. @EisenKoubu what were the three policies you received at hand, and which policy did you discard?
@cjlim2007 seems to be on a good track with counting probabilities, however, I ain’'t gonna believe in anything that has a 0.01% chance of being false. I figure if we are gonna point fingers, we gotta be sure about this. Otherwise, I think both Mr. Koubu and Rabla here are just as likely radical as any one of us.
Let’s check out all the possibilities, then.
- 3 progressive policies: Simply impossible, a radical policy was put into play
- 2 progressive, 1 radical: This is the most confusing option we have. If this were the case, we’d be sure that Mr. Koubu here discarded a progressive policy. But why would he do that? It’s either he is a radical, and hoped that Rabla would help him out… Or he is a progressive, and wanted to know for sure where Rabla’s allegiance lies. However, only he would know that, and we can never find out unless we trust his word. Either way, he isn’t a very helpful progressive if he risked that possibility, just to test the waters.
- 1 progressive, 2 radical: This ties up very well with what Rabla says. Mr. Koubu might have been a radical, and threw away the only progressive policy. Or he was progressive and hoped that Rabla would save him.
- 3 radical policies: This option puts everything on the gutter. However, this is unlikely if we are to trust what Mr. Koubu says; he claims that Rabla betrayed his trust, after all. Unless he wishes to wipe his own hands of guilt (which, frankly, makes no sense to me).
(Well, that’s the problem. I’m uncertain what I can and can’t do when it comes to sharing my view of the private information I received. The rules say I can talk about it or even weave lies into it as long as I don’t use red truth or anything like that, but even then I’m scared to confess if there’s a chance it will kick me out of the game. @Karifean might be able to shed some light on it, but for now I’m staying quiet.)
For now, I refuse the loli truth. I won’t say why.
You might as well tell me to lie about whom I investigate… ^^;
Then again, that is fair game, but on the surface I have little reason to suspect you or CJ. I may not know much about who you two are, but you seem to be the only ones who are actively looking for someone to distrust.
From my point of view, the people that supported mine and Rabla’s government without any reservation have an equal chance of being radicals. That includes you, Aspi, and your single, deliberately vague sentence of approval. I feel that someone in that group should be a fair target for investigation, and I feel like I’m coming close to figuring out who would be the best candidate.
I just need a little more time and info, and that’s part of the reason why I’m asking for help. If you have no help to give me, then I will choose for myself and speak the truth in this room of lies and deceit!
That, at the very least, makes you quite distrustful in my eyes. As of now, I am leaning towards option 3, because that seems the most likely. If you were a radical, option 2 means rabla is also radical. But option 3 means you tricked him. If you were a progressive, however, then that only means that option 3 is a possibility, because I don’t believe you’d be dumb enough to risk throwing out the chance to make another progressive policy happen.
But I could be wrong and maybe you are just dumb enough.
Which means pretty much everyone except @cjlim2007, then?
To make this as clear as possible. Anyone is free to claim whatever they want in this topic. Conversely that also means that anyone is free you claim whatever they want in this topic. You can say it but you can’t force people to accept you’re actually telling the truth.
So long as you don’t use quotes or actual screenshots of my messages to substantiate your claims you are free to tell everyone about information only you have, such as discarded policies or investigation results.
@EisenKoubu! Repeat it in red! “I intend to win this game.”
I hope @Karifean will sanction this use of the red.
But this game is based on Higurashi!
