I can confirm that. I was given two progressive policies and one radical one. I discarded the radical policy and made up the contents for the progressive policies.
So now we donât have much extra info. Everyone voted the same way. If we continue the rule thesorceress placed, Necem should choose Wonderlander. Also @Karifean I just noticed that for your government results announcement you mentioned the people from the old game.
Allllll on purpose.
Well, not a thing went wrong so I will go ahead and continue.
I nominate @Wonderlander as Chancellor.
Thank you. I really hope that I donât draw 3 radical policyâs this early in the game.
Everythingâs gonna be 大ä¸ĺ¤Ť.
Voting Phase
@thesorceress @Necem @PocketyHat @Pepe @pictoshark @EisenKoubu @Seraphitic @Aspirety @Wonderlander @cjlim2007
Since our presidential candidates has chosen a chancellor, itâs time for everyone to vote.
President: Necem
Chancellor: Wonderlander
Do you trust these two to represent you and the entire village of Hinamizawa and enact a policy on your behalf? You have 18 more hours to get your votes in.
Just a heads up, in this early game phase, discarding one progressive from that stack is quite the popular strategy, because that way we can see what @cjlim2007 might choose.
It usually doesnât help expose rads until thereâs about 2 prog policies on the board, but just in caseâŚ
Thank you for this glorious opportunity to represent the beautiful village of Hinamizawa @Necem! I shanât let you down!
And we donât see what thesorceress would choose. It would even make them way more suspicious because âI just wanted to see where the chancellors alignment laysâ is a popular excuse. Discarding a progressive policy would never really work in your favor. I remember @pepe trying that in the last game. Also, if cj happens to be radical, it even helps them. He can still blame thesorceress and say he got two radical policies. We have no way to confirm who is lying and who is telling the truth. And they get to discard two progressive policies from the stack and that could bite us later when there are no progressive policies left.
Long story short, I wonât do that.
I shanât let you down!
And I wonât let you down either.
The second government was also unanimously accepted! Such unity among the council, what a rare sight!
Government Phase
Our new government has once again the obligation of leading Hinamizawa. Let us pray that their choice is in the best interest of the entire village.
Necem and Wonderlander, you two may not post in this topic until the government phase has concluded.
Iâm gonna keep track of the supposed policy count based on what the government said. Currently, the count should be 4 progressive, 10 radical, 14 total. There are a four possible outcomes for draws. Letter just represents the policy type.
- RRR 0.33
- RRP 0.495
- RPP 0.165
- PPP 0.01
Those are the probabilities of getting the combination
@thesorceress @Necem @PocketyHat @Pepe @pictoshark @EisenKoubu @Seraphitic @Aspirety @Wonderlander @cjlim2007
Gather round, members of the council! The government has made their choice, a new policy has been enacted!
âCarrying around baseball bats outside of a baseball field is banned.â
That sounds like a rather radical policy at first glance but the intent behind it is doubtlessly progressive. Maybe the president and chancellor can shed more light on this.
Current game status
Radical policies played: 0
Progressive policies played: 2
Next presidential privilege unlocked by radical policy: Investigation
Previous government: Necem and Wonderlander
Remaining policies in stock: 11
Election Phase
@PocketyHat, you are the current presidential candidate, please nominate a chancellor. Do note that Necem and Wonderlander cannot be nominated as chancellors since they were part of the previous government. Feel free to take your time and discuss the results of the previous government phase with your fellow council members, but once youâve made up your mind regarding a chancellor, please state their name in bold. We will then start the voting. You have 24 hours to choose someone.
Remember, as soon as Necem nominates a chancellor, the voting begins and with it the 24 hour time limit.
âŚdid the amount of policies drop from 14 to 11? Am I bad at math or did something strange happen?
Thatâs normal; the president of any government gets 3 policies from the stock. Over the course of the government phase, two of those are discarded, and the last one is played. The discarded policies only come back into play when there are not enough policies remaining in the stock for the game to proceed.
Also good job guys! Two progressives on the board. Would you mind telling us what you got @Wonderlander?
Okay! I thought the second one went back into the stock. That makes sense.
Oho! Another progressive policy!
"Yay! Another one!"
Me myself and I are glad about it! But that means the radical people might start working to make sure some radical policy becomes enacted! And oh my, seems like Iâm the president this time around! I guess I shall nominate⌠myself!
"But Pockety-sama! That would be even more radical than what the radical people want to do!! You need to chose someone else and follow the rule that these village people agreed on!!"
OhâŚ? Well thatâs disappointing, I could have gotten ourselves another progressive policy by myself⌠Well, I guess I should check who Iâm supposed to nominate! Uh⌠oh right! @Aspirety!
However, Iâm not going to cast the nomination just yet, since I want to hear what the previous government did first.
"Wow thatâs very smart of you!"
No it isnât, itâs common sense stupid me.
"Ah⌠sorryâŚ"
Although discussion wouldnât be hindered by me already nominating, but I donât want to throw anyone off the loop because of it so, again, I wonât do it.
Anyway! Could you both kindly tell us, @Wonderlander and @Necem? Preferably in that order.
Ooops so sorry guys! For my lack of imagination as well with the said policy.
Anyways onto the meat of the story. I was given 1 radical and 1 progressive policy by our beloved @Necem here. Hope that helps.
