As it turns out, I was handed two One True Kings policies, which I pretty much expected based on all the hardcore math floating around. A shame, indeed.
As for @UsagiTenpura’s concerns over my quietness… I’m just not that good at this game and am constantly just standing back as an onlooker. In Tabletop Sim games this usually isn’t a problem, but at a forum pace it means I disappear for a fair while, so I guess that does look bad from a general perspective. I’ll try to be louder from now on.
I can confirm this from having played several games with him. I will say I am rather curious as to who wrote these policies as well as what akafa claims he got. We need all the information we can get, even if it is likely that Akafa did get triple OTK. The chance of that not being the case is about equal, with a combined chance of the two other possibilities being a bit higher than triples.
Does this not mean that they will need to kill each other and absorb their powers as THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE?!?!?! If not, then I am disappointed.

Which heavily contrast with PocketyHat, who I cannot help notice was quite vocal in the last game while being a progressive. and is (so far) the most quiet person in this game. That worries me personally a lot more.
As for what you obtained, well, yeah it’s actually very likely, so I’ll let that in suspense for now.
I really have to know however who wrote that policy.
To use a radical policy I was told the policy text had to line up with a radical view, so I kind of weighed between changing the name of the progressive team or improving the name of the radical team. The latter felt more viable, plus I couldn’t really think of anything funny to call Progressives at the time.
Then I have to admit my dissapointment over having my idea being stolen.
While admitting that it is very much an OTK thing to steal progressive ideas…
Pitting followers against a god sounds pretty imbalanced to me. Then again it might be fun to see a different One True King backstab Oyashiro and have them take their position.

I gotta admit, this seems almost like a move only a One True King would pull - especially the part about preventing further changes in the future. A progressive should have remembered their allegiance and at least left a loophole.

However, the result will be revealed to you privately, and you could then lie about the result if you think that would benefit you.
Also, if anyone feels award about the new name remember, their name can be interpreted asthe One True group of Kings, which implies that no one outside of their group is really a King, and everyone inside their group is.
So we can probably refer to individual members of the One True Kings as Kings, for the time being.
I would also like to point out that the new rule only restricts changing their name with the intent to slander them. So if someone were to “enhance the truth” about their reason for changing their name again, it would be valid. I’m just saaaaaaying…
One may not necessarily feel insulted about being a Grumpy Old Man, I guess, they could actually be proud of it.
