Your vague wording here reminds me of the old âlet him have itâ trials back when the death penalty was a thing in the UK. Though I doubt you mean anything Iâll be specific and ask you to rephrase that if you can to âThe man never got the money he requestedâ otherwise we could go down a rabbit hole of shit regarding what âgetting itâ means.

The man never saw anyone pass through any of the entrances in and out of the bank, and he would have seen if anyone passed through an entrance he knew of.

The weapon the accomplice brought with him is a FMJ hunting rifle that could Pierce the doorway and up to 2 walls of the bank, as long as the walls were not the bank vault walls.

The conditions behind what the man needed changed within the hour. He found that he no longer needed the money that he thought he did and gave up his plan.
Alternately, someone talked him out of his plan or he decided he could finish his plan another way or his partner fulfilled the conditions of the threat.
Something happened that made him stop his plan and leave.
