Don’t be rude! I may be from another world, but I’m as human as anyone else. I’m on the human team and if you’re human too it would be terrible to kill either of us.
Just because my partner is dead, doesn’t mean I don’t want the humans to win. And it doesn’t mean I don’t want revenge for Usagi. We should concentrate on figuring out who killed her, not lyching either of us. That won’t help anyone but the people who hurt my friend.
Ah, I see what you mean when you talk about Night Actions. Unfortunately it seems in your haste to enter this battlefield you neglected to look over the handouts. In the first post there is a list of all Roles that may be present at any given time, and at least right now, no such ability exists. There’s also no Cult or Mason roles.
I’ll take on your request, and make it even clearer by changing your “more than 2” idea.
When this Gameboard opened, there were three teams present on the board
Thank you, I was hoping I wouldn’'t have to chase that theory down.
Despite the nighttime role not being on your sheet, it could have been explained by having part of it’s text be “this role is not mentioned in the possible roles sheet”.
I’m glad THAT’S out of the way.
Pink team? Could you present yourself? Otherwise we’re going to have some trust issues, especially considering that you concealed your presence until now.
Also, what is your role in the game? What are your victory conditions?
Perhaps the “legendary” crimson sorcerer can answer these questions for us?
As I said I am Alice. I am a human from another world. I assume Usagi was as well, if the witches killed them. My role is observation, attempting to help the human side win, and surviving with Usagi. I was to keep them alive for victory, but it seems I have failed already.
If there are others in my team, I do not know them. I do not think there are though, honestly, I could be simply ignorant. If there are others from my world, I do hope they would have shown themselves to me.
Since victory has been snatched from me so quickly and coldly from me, my only real goal now can be revenge, until I find a new purpose.
Meanwhile I’m trying to figure out something completely different.
I’m trying to disassemble this here, and my best guess is that the ‘young man’ is a Switcher, who switched the locations of the girl and the servant for the night. It appears the servant had also intended to check on the young man, although that can mean any of many things. Then we get to the old man who apparently convinced the ‘young one’ (who due to being referred to with a male pronoun is apparently not the girl but the ‘young man’ from before, the alleged Switcher) to go back to his own room, which would make my best guess as to his ability a Protector. Finally we have a lady and another young man being asked about his work by her which sounds very much like she’s a Journalist although it could also mean she is an Identifier or Investigator.
So we have our wonderful Switcher switching the location of a girl (identity unknown) and a servant who also targeted the Switcher that night. Furthermore the Switcher was targeted by the Protector. And finally, beyond those four players, an information gatherer of some sort interviews a man, but apparently leaves without doing much information gathering? Might mean that the person they targeted was vanilla.
Finally, tragedy struck and our beloved Usagi was killed by yet another “older man”. And although her role appears to have been “Stressed Servant” the nighttime happenings certainly seem to imply her to be a separate servant from the one talked about earlier.
Anyone else have a different interpretation of what transpired this night?
Why did you hide yourself until now? Was it a result of my advice?
I threw a random switch to try to screw with the witch’s plans. I figured if they wouldn’t target me, they would target Pepe (or more like it was moderately likely that they would), just because he was sticking out, so I switched him with a less useful seeming newbie, just to be safe.
That is interesting information indeed. Thanks for your cooperation!
Might as well add, my best guess as to what the servant is is Tracker. Just because “keeping an eye on a person” is exactly how Rabla described my actions last game, where my character happened to be the one to have the Tracker role.
Only one other person said who they were why would Usagi and I admit our roles so early? If more people had we would have too, but I am only doing so now because I have little to lose.
Hmm. It seems many interesting things happened at night. It would be really very helpful to find the Detective. I want to know who they are.
This is likely to be my pathetic little toy. It matches the strings I pulled, the role I claimed earlier , etc…
Also, as you deduced, he was protected a service I requested be extended to me. Further backing up my claim of being a Switcher
Please note my allies, BE SKEPTICAL OF MY CLAIMS! I may have some ulterior motive, maybe the protector thing was a coincidence I am now gloriously taking advantage of. Maybe I am misleading you as to who I switched to conceal someone’s roles, etc…
To this end, I will point out a contradiction with my telling of events, along with my explanation of the contradiction.
I proposed revealing my ability and asking for advice on its use.
This makes very little sense if I am a Switcher a role that is useless if it’s targets are known to all. I may have proposed a solution to that:
But let’s all be honest here, that was a pretty crappy solution.
Now for my explanation.
I literally forgot i was a Switcher. I looked at my role, probably acknowledged it’s ability in my head, thought “that could be useful for screwing with the witches” and then forgot the specifics of the ability.
The yellow I quoted above was damage control after I realized my mistake.
This is a rather important bit of information since this sounds even more like a Protector than what I presumed to be the player with the role before. I really can’t read this as being anything else, so I’m going to assume the old man from before was… a different role? Can there be two Protectors? Probably not if I had to guess. Either way, looks like they targeted one of the switched players and ended up protecting the other instead. So instead of the girl (identity still unknown but probably important to note that the narration doesn’t speak of her going anywhere that night, so she’s likely vanilla or a role with a passive benefit) they protected the servant, who I still think is most likely the Tracker. Although moments after poösting my previous message I realized I got the wording wrong… I still think Tracker is the most likely role. Or can you correct me on that, Pepe or Wonderlander, whoever of you is the servant?
Goodie, blood is one of the most relaxing smells (unless it’s your own, GOOD LORD)
And as I wasn’t in the last game, I KIND OF doubt that it has any of my blood on it.
While you’re here, I haven’t seen @cjlim2007 at the table since what happened to his petty little fetish meat-toy. Is he still here, just hiding? Was he blasted to pieces while I wasn’t looking? Has he just been in the bathroom for a REALLY long time and he’s about to walk back in, having sworn to not speak? (I’d prefer a sewn mouth myself)
I will admit that I, in my inexperience with the game,
have unknowingly broken one of the rules. Therefore in accordance with a
discussion with another person I will therefore proclaim this:
I am
and the Detective of this game. During the first
twilight I investigated fellow piece @pictoshark and confirmed him
to be Human Aligned.
I will now leave this proclamation to my fellow players and my fate to our game master Rabla.
Heee. Never expected that Lady Alice would appear on this gameboard. I’ve heard stories of you from Beato, glad we can finally meet. It is however very unfortunate that your role in this Gameboard was eliminated so early. I wonder if any other pieces outside of our Rokkenjima will make an appearance.
But, if I may make a request, as per the formalities of this game, could you quote your PM role instead of stating it plainly? I will offer you all the same courtesy.
And I am, regrettably, vanilla. It seems I am fated to play a supporting role in this gameboard.
@EternalMagician, may I ask exactly what rule you broke? If you are able to say so.
I sent a PM to another player and we decided that I would openly proclaim the information I shared with that player to everyone. That player didn’t share any information and so is blameless.
I will accept any punishment that the game master feel necessary, including the death of my piece and ban from further activities in the game.
