Don’t worry about things like that. You should manage to remember that for the rest of them.
Perhaps you ought to to remember a few things about this messed up place yourself, old man. You’re slipping up a bit yourself.
I arrive at last to see the Majority was pushed immediately. Kind of an odd move considering we had a few people specifically noting to be careful, but I guess with today’s No Death it’s not too bad…
The question is where to go from here. It’s too early to suggest ideas for our night, since we’ll have no clue what powers are in play until the sunrise, but I feel like it’s safe to assume there’s a Lifesaver, yeah? Maybe they should keep an eye on our senile old host here. I’m worried a few people might be out to get him.
I can see why the No Death vote was pushed so hard though. Whenever the Humans lynched on the first day, (Game 1) or were put in a position where they had no choice but to kill someone, (The Head’s Ring) things always went wrong and the Witches won. Where as in both Games 2 and 3, the Human’s voted for no deaths the first day and went on to triumph over the Witches.
Issue is Rose, we had agreed not to push the vote before the second half. If we hadn’t it wouldn’t be nearly as suspicious, I reckon. It makes sense that we woulda ended up without killing someone today, but I do think its a bit odd that people decided to go against what we had all decided. Hence why I pointed out we shouldn’t let it happen again. That’s just me being a tad suspicious though, I’ve found its better to keep a wary eye out than get bitten for being a bit too trustin’.
Like I said, I don’t think it was too much of a problem considering within the limited scope of Day 1 we would of done it anyway, but we should still take note of @MAFIA_Suzumu and @MAFIA_Keiichi’s votes after the multiple times we mentioned to not push yet. That’s kind of iffy behavior no matter what way you look at it.
Suzumu in particular;
“At this pace”? We had rather quickly made our way to that decision, I don’t entirely understand what problem you saw in our conversation. We were very clear we would get there after Half-time and had more time to discuss, yet you pushed the vote anyway with the one that made Majority.
Keiichi’s was less of a direct problem but it obviously made it harder for the people active at the time to back down from the number. Personally while it’s still odd, he’s less of a problem than what Suzumu did.
We need to be careful with votes and make sure people are paying attention to numbers.
Speaking of which;
I respectfully disagree.
If we want people to talk, we need to be able to pressure people into speaking up. Votes do that. Starting to push several votes on a person will force them to give up some information. Restricting votes completely in the first half would restrict a lot of potential conversation.
What we should do, however, is never push majority in the first half. Anyone who pushes a vote that would cause Majority Lockdown within the first half should be viewed with suspicion. Unless of course we’ve come across an obvious Witch to kill, but you know.
All in all, please be careful with Votes in the first half of a Daylight Phase. I already have enough trouble needing to keep an eye on my incompetent dear sister to have to worry about all of you as well.
I mostly agree with what the little miss put forward, however I gotta say theres a little bit of a flaw in it. If we are near the Majority when halftime rolls around and the culprits want that person dead, they could pretty easily throw a vote on if they’ve held back from doin’ so. So on that note, A few hours before halftime rolls around, we should make sure we are at least four votes shy of the majority total. If anyone refuses to retract their vote to ensure this, then they should be viewed with suspicion.
Its important to be able to put the screws to someone suspicious, but we also shouldn’t give the culprits of this terrible crime get their way I’d reckon. Thats just my two cents though.
We’ll have to adjust that number on a day-to-day basis. Tomorrow’s vote should (assuming only one person dies tonight) be 7 Majority of 12, so four seems fine, or even three.
The “at this pace” meant for figuring out witches. I apologize that wasnt very clear.
We did seem to be moving very quickly in our decisions without much discussion. Which is a bit frightening depending on how easily the witches can kill all the humans. I’ll be more careful about my vote timing next time, so we all have more time to discuss as a whole what is going on.
Nah, no need to change it. Thing is we’re trying to keep the culprits from being able to tip the scales, so we need to keep it at least one above their number, so the only time it’ll need adjustin’ is if we manage to hit one of em. I’d say that now that my reasonin’ is explained it would be mighty suspicious if someone decided to try to get the number lowered before we nabbed one of the culprits.
Oh, I see. I didn’t make the connection that you’d based the number on the Witch Count. Then yeah, I’d say we can use that as-is.
Sorry for talkin’ so much in case someone else wanted to speak, but somethin’s a bit odd with what you said there. Theres no real way for us to be figurin’ out the culprits right now. We simply don’t got anythin’ to go on, so our best bet was to just not panic and attack one of our own. Might just be you not bein’ used to high stress situations, but it’s worth pointin’ out just in case.

While this is a great idea, to be honest I wouldn’t be very worried in this situation if people started pushing votes on me, especially since I’d have a lot of time to talk my way out of it, and I think the murderer or murderers would think the same.
Though I guess if no-one here falls for their ruses that’s a good thing, isn’t it?
Also one more thing. You say that Suzumu’s reaction was odd though it’s a perfectly legitimate idea to push for no death early as we don’t have any info to go off of. Not that I agree, but from my experience some people don’t like waving a theory stick around in the dark.
Is that even a phrase? Probably not.
sigh…clearly I’m too worn out for this. Let me go get a drink and I’ll try not to die in the meanwhile. You too, everyone. You guys seem okay at this.
It’s perfectly legitimate to push for no death yeah, but the issue is that the general consensus was to let it wait. Furthermore, he seemed to want to hurry things along at least from where I’m sittin’. Could be wrong about that, I’m just a simple bouncer after all. Gotta say though, its important to read the air and go with the flow, little miss. Thats mostly what I’m pointing out as odd right here.
I realize your objection about our suggestions, but the issue here is that if the vote was close it wouldn’t be too hard for one or more of the culprits to toss on their vote to put it over and end up killing someone they want dead. Its a bad situation to be put in either way, but I think I’d air on the side of caution here at least for now.
Don’t mistake me; I 100% agree with you, it’s just her actions aren’t necessarily suspicious as some people think that’s a good idea.
I don’t, and we need to avoid doing this in the future. After all, time leads to information and information is king here.
Or queen if you’d prefer that.
Anyway @MAFIA_Suzuma don’t do it again lol
Misspell, request edit?
Her? …Little miss I’ve been through a lot but I don’t think I would mistake a lass for a lad, and I am pretty sure that @MAFIA_Suzumu is definitely a man.
@MAFIA_Higanbana @MAFIA_Shion @MAFIA_Black_Battler @MAFIA_Kinzo @MAFIA_Suzumu @MAFIA_Rose @MAFIA_Kanon @MAFIA_Gabriel @MAFIA_Lucia @MAFIA_Alice @MAFIA_Mion @MAFIA_Leo @MAFIA_Keiichi
The night was rather chaotic. It seems few people got much sleep tonight. A lot of people were up and about gathering information, others were making sure things wouldn’t get out of hand too early.
When dawn broke, everyone reconvened in the parlor. However, someone was absent - Keiichi. Rika first and now… it couldn’t be? His friends got a little agitated and convinced everyone else to go look for him. They all moved in a single group so it took a while, but eventually they found Keiichi upstairs… bleeding out on the floor.
@MAFIA_Keiichi is dead. He was Unaligned, played by Blackrune.
There was no time to grieve. They couldn’t afford to just sit back and do nothing. It was time for round two.
You have 48 hours to vote for someone. Halftime will take place in roughly 24 hours, at which point Majority Lockdowns will also become possible.
Tch, I wish I was wrong about things happening again. Killing children, this killer really is the worst kind of scum. Still, we can’t let ourselves be overcome. We should all confer about what we were doin’ last night to see who had an alibi and who didn’t. We have a lot more to go on tonight, so lets put our heads together and figure out who the scumbags who keep killing kids are.
This is just horrible. Now another child got killed. I swear, I will never give up trying to find who did this!
