Hmmm, interesting catch there. I guess it could actually be a joke but definitely something to take note off till later.
But about Picto there’s one point that concerns me about him and that’s we don’t actually know if his statement about his power and victory condition is true. It could be but it could also be a very Pictoesque way to hide in plain sight or simply something similar to the lovers in the last game, namely a third party with their own victory condition. Might be that the humans and the third party actually share the victory condition of killing the witches but it could also be that the humans loses if the third party is still in play after all the witches are killed, or something similar.
So the question is, do we dare to trust his statement or should we also consider the third party to be a threat on the level of the witches and kill them as well?
“Third parties, turd parties. I say we kill 'em all. This is a human (and cat) only zone, after all!”
That one sounds like it’d be too much of a jerk move if the humans aren’t warned. I mean, they could basically play 100% human friendly and then it’s just like “surprise, suckers” at the end…
Also @Zepfur you just made me like 80% certain akafa is picto’s partner. Though maybe it’s just cause I didn’t play FF and don’t get the joke.

That’s the thing as far as I’m concerned.
This kind of ultra bold claim from the let go, exactly like the lovers did in Vyse’s game, is just putting us in a completely awkward position.
- Either we basically blindly believe it and risk getting completely screwed over.
- Either we consider it suspicious, go to gut them, and risk taking the blame for making the human side lose.
That’s a situation that really shouldn’t happen in these games and I personally neither want allies that puts their supposed teammates in such a situation nor who reacts to accusations in the way he did. But hey that’s me.
So I’m completely willing to take this risk because quite frankly the whole situation makes me care more about making a meta statement (“don’t do that in future games”) than victory and in a way picto lost his one chance to snipe a witch that could’ve made me really certain to trust him. Not saying I necessarily blame him for it, heck I bought up wonderlander myself, but that’s really the only thing that would’ve convinced me to the point where I think reasonably his claim should’ve been at best revealed after he snipped a witch at night if it holds any truth.
Supposedly he has a partner out there, can’t the two of them be enough to discuss the matter of who to kill at night? Why is he waiting for external output? Trying not to be blamed for the humans it kills? That kind of questions are things I really rather would not have to be asking myself in the first place.

In last game Lovers couldnt communicate and I think they cant in this game aswell. But If that’s the case how are they selecting the victim then… Maybe their kill is always random as long as two of them are alive?

What if Picto doesnt have a partner and acts as some sort of serial killer? He could have lied about having a partner so we dont lynch him, because we don’t know the other person in his party?
Let us remember this statement once the game is over, and I shall revisit it.

I’d say these are actually contributions and I kinda doubt that the blue text was anything else than akafa messing around, but your choice. I don’t have a real read of akafa right now I suppose.
